Palladian PowerKords represent the finest power cable available. The critics have been unanimous in their praise of the cable’s transparency, detail, articulate bass, dynamic contrasts, musical ease and flow and freedom from grain.

Sound

When this cable arrived at my doorstep, I had no clue what the cost was. But it did look expensive. After listening to it, I was afraid to find out what the price was. This power cable sounds ridiculously good.

Off the bat, I’ve found this cable to be more of my liking over the Shunyata, Audioquest, and even the darling Furutech DPS-4 on this list. Other than a slightly darker tone, there’s not a lot of negatives I could hear.

Near Perfect

The sound is very natural. Typically, cables this warm usually aren’t this detailed. Its presentation of texture, body, and tonal variations is world-class. It’s also delicate yet authoritative with incredible dynamic range.

Each performer is given its own independent space. Nothing is shared – yet everyone still plays cohesively. Essentially, there’s a distinction within the perspective. Resonances linger for a proper period – and with color.

Although not the heaviest or punchiest of cables, it’s still naturally dense. It doesn’t overdo anything – and sounds great across all genres. There’s an immersive quality I really love about this cable. Everything sounds convincingly textured and lifelike. Brass, in particular, reminds me of multiple performances when I visited New Orleans. All male acapella recordings are also layered so perfectly. It even brought 2Pac back to life.

I honestly can’t fault this cable for much. It captures the essence of the music. And that’s the whole point. It’s difficult not to be covered in goosebumps after listening to this cable. You could imagine my relief when I finally found the price. You gotta hear this cable.
