CanJam SoCal 2018 – Show Report

Probably THE busiest table at CanJam. ZMF had a fantastic showing and for good reason. Their headphones simply kick ass.

I had a LOT of fun with this stack. Playing with the Loki was really interesting. The adjustments aren’t intrusive or exaggerated. They’re subtle and allow you to blend a flavoring that’s pretty smooth and to my liking. I’ve purchased the Loki and will be reviewing it soon.

The Audioquest NightOwl sounded much better than I expected and I prefer it over the NightHawk. I’ll have to revisit this one.

Hifiman Sundara – Great bang for buck and a nice upgrade over the 400i. Smooth, sweet, and well-textured.

Hifiman Shangri-La Jr. – Transparent, resolving, clear, and airy. Fantastic imaging.

The Focal Clear Pro edition looks and sounds great. I might be purchasing a pair very soon.
