RMAF 2018 – Innuos Statement vs. ZENith Mk.3 Music Servers
Innuos Statement – $13,750
A double-enclosure with 10mm thick aluminum. You want to get that toroidal as far away from the rest of the equipment.
Custom motherboard by Super Micro.
Heavily modified firmware and BIOS.
Asymmetrical isolation feet.
Linear power supply with eight independent power rails by Dr. Sean Jacobs.
The external power supply provides raw DC while all eight regulation stage is done in the main chassis. This is to enable a purer and shorter path to the critical components.
A custom USB and Ethernet board with the higher precision OCXO clocks. There are two power rails just for USB and one for the clock’s power supply.

I think you could actually hear the differences between the ZENith Mk.3 and Statement in these videos (we played the same track). Nuno also goes into more detail about the differences.

So much heart and soul (and money) go into the creation of this artistry. My aim is to find out which products get me closer to what the musicians and directors intended.
I like that one an buy and Innuos Zen Mk3 and then send it in to be upgraded later to a Innuos Zenith Mk3. If you could also send in the Zen/Zenith Mk3 later for an internal of the USB output, instead of adding external boxes, then that would convict me to buy. I want an in one product and not have to add external boxes which may or not need better power supplies. Anyway thanks for this article!
It’s very difficult to compare the SE and Statement in the video as the components used for each recording is not the same.
The components were the same in the SE and Statement comparison. The experiment was done blind not knowing which server was plugged in (via USB) going A, B, A one track at a time for a few different tracks. All components were the same. Mark was going behind and manually switching the USB connection between the servers. Hope that clarifies,

I’m confused about the comparison between the SE and the “Zen MK III.” Don’t you mean the Zenith MK III? The Zen is the middle tier in the lineup between the Zen Mini MK III and Zenith MKIII. This review appears to be about the Zenith III, not the Zen III.
Did you mean ZENith MK3 vs. ZENith MK2 SE?

At our room on RMAF we had the Statement and the ZENith SE for comparison. At our partners (Spatial, Rethm Speakers, Modwright) we had ZENith Mk.3.
To clarify between ZEN and ZENith: the Zen mk3 uses a dual-linear power supply with Nichicon Caps and a hard drive. The ZENith MK3 uses a triple-linear power supply with Mundorf Caps and SSD. Everything else is the same between the two of them.
