Rocky Mountain Audio Festival 2017 – We’ll Be There!

Audio Bacon will be at RMAF this year and we’re looking forward to bathing ourselves in 2-channel bliss. There are too many exciting product debuts to list so if there are specific components you’d like us to cover, please mention it in the comments or email me. We’ll come up with a checklist for the event and knock em all off.

Here’s what I’m excited about:

The 14th Annual Rocky Mountain Audio Fest (RMAF) is the largest consumer audio and home entertainment show in the United States. Simply put: “mega stereo systems!” Denver’s own audio wonderland now features over 160 exhibit spaces representing more than 400 companies from North and South America, Europe, Australia and Asia.

CanJam @ RMAF is a show-within-a-show, organized by Head-Fi.org, it features the latest and greatest in headphone technology, which with 47% growth in 2013, is the fastest growing segment of the audio industry. Watch a Preview of this year’s CanJam below.

Attendees are encouraged to go from room-to-room, interact with salespeople and engineers, have a seat and casually listen. Many bring their own iPods, discs or vinyl records, as most exhibitors are happy to play one or two favorite songs as a demonstration of sound quality. A variety of equipment is demonstrated, ranging from affordable audio systems to ultra-expensive high-end gear.

RMAF also features live entertainment, informative seminars, equipment show specials, and prize drawings throughout the weekend.

Mr. Audio Bacon himself. An open-minded electrical engineer and software developer by trade. I have an obsession with the enjoyment of all things media - specifically in the realm of music and film. So much heart and soul (and money) go into the creation of this artistry. My aim is to find out which products get me closer to what the musicians and directors intended.

  • Hi,

    Hope you enjoyed RMAF.

I'm very curious to know if you got to spend some time with Schiit's Gadget?? Also, did they give you any timeline for when it'll be available?

    Thanks,

    Laurence
